Teach Yourself Fashion: Books for Beginners

Updated: Feb 16, 2022

Hi sweets! In this video I give a few books that has helped me tremendously in my journey of "self-taught" fashion design. I am just a woman who with a Marketing degree who has always been in love with fashion design since I was a girl, but was never encouraged to pursue it as a child. But, I didn't let that discourage me. I did the work in studying, taking classes, practicing, and exploring the art of fashion without going to fashion school. Many of the greatest designers NEVER attended fashion school, yet they created some amazing fashion.

If you really love fashion, but you can't afford to go to school or have no support in pursuing fashion design, there is still hope and information out there for you to teach yourself. DON'T GIVE UP!

This "Teach Yourself Fashion" Series is to take you behind the tutorials and give you information, resources, and tips on how to become better at your craft. I hope you enjoy. There is plenty more to come!
